The PhonDat 1 corpus is part of the Bavarian Archive for Speech Signals collection. This is a corpus of German speech in which 201 speakers read at least 450 passages (comprised of alphanumericals and of sentences). In total, the corpus offers 21587 recorded utterances. Additionally, to capture regional differences, the recordings were obtained in four different locations in Germany: the University of Kiel, the University of Bonn, the University of Bochum, and the University of Munich.
