The GECO corpus offers approximately 21 hours of spontaneous German speech coming from 46 conversations between previously unacquainted female German speakers. 22 of these conversations took place between speakers who could not see each other, while the other 24 conversations were conducted with face-to-face contact. The corpus was designed to examine phonetic convergence and its relationship to personality and social factors. It provides automatic annotations for words, syllables and segments.
